It’s very paramount that everyone gets on board in as far as animal rights are concerned. Recently, fifty-five newly recruited police officers in central region have been oriented in criminal investigation skills to enhance their capabilities and assist in the reduction of animal cruelty cases within the region and country as a whole.
Our campaign to stop the illegal roadside sale of puppies and kittens now focuses on orientation of community chiefs as well as members of community police forum about Animal Protection Act.
You'll find us in Kanengo-Roberts/Area 28, on the outskirts of Lilongwe city. When driving from the city center/Lilongwe town on the M1, just passed Area 30 police, turn at Total filling station, then take your second turn to the right, then first turn left, and about 300 metres you'll see our signpost.
