Pet Exportation
In many families, the pets are more than just pets, they are part of the family. They have given you years of love, companionship and protection. How can you leave them behind? Do you really know how they will be looked after if you do leave them behind? Isn’t it better to keep the family unit together and take them with you? It’s not as difficult or expensive as you might think to take your pets with you when you leave Malawi!!
The LSPCA has helped many families take their pets with them. We have exported pets to LA, New York, London, Belfast, Frankfurt, JHB and Buenos Aires, to name just a few.
We can arrange your Malawian export certificate, book flights with the relevant agents, deal with international pet transport agents (mainly Keringa Petwings in South Africa) pick up your pet on the day of travel and transport them to the airport, deal with all the customs documentation required on the day and make any payments on your behalf. We also remain with your pet at the airport until final loading, ensuring they remain calm, have a final walk around and loo stop, if possible.
Please note that all pets into and out of Malawi must travel as cargo.
