Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to the running of the LSPCA and we value the skills of our volunteers, whether their background is in veterinary, marketing, animal management, IT or other fields.
Every volunteer with the LSPCA will have a chance to go out with the LSPCA team to our mobile spay and neuter clinics, rabies vaccination days,community humane education classes and farm day clinics to interact with local children and help out with the medical care of animals. You will also have a chance to go to the local schools to see our education programme in action and have plenty of opportunities to work with the animals in our care.
The LSPCA Volunteer Placement Programme is incredibly important to the organization, the animals it rehabilitates and the local communities that also benefit from it. You can rest assured that your donation to the LSPCA will be used to benefit the animals and communities and will not be tied up in administration costs.
The LSPCA has achieved huge amounts over the past few years as a result of donations made by the volunteers and the physical work that they have undertaken whilst in Lilongwe. I hope you too can join us and help make a real difference to both the human and animal population of Lilongwe.
